Burr Turn The Heat Up

One thing about living in Tennessee, is you never know if it is going to be hot or cold. We go from 60ish degree weather, where we can have the front door open, to 28 degrees over night! Without having heat in the home and only having space heaters it gets COLD.

One thing I refuse to do is sleep with the space heaters on. I have a rule that when we lay down to go to bed those space heaters come off.

They’re calling for a possibility of ice on Monday and Tuesday, which if we get anything we maybe without power. Since we are in a small little town, we have a local electric company, and it seems like the power goes out when just a small wind comes through!

I am so ready for Summer and when Summer gets here I will be ready for winter, I wish we could have like 75 degree weather all the time, then I would be one happy momma.

Until we get there, I will sit here with my cow slippers on, wrapped up in my blanket, drinking my pumpkin spice latte, because that is how I roll!

wishing for summer too, I am not a fan of winter. I don’t mind nice sunny days building snowman or going ice fishing, but I do not like the ice. I try to stay indoors if we get icy roads.. Good thinking on keeping those space heaters off at night.

We just got some extra blankets for the bed, and the kiddo is in our room. It is going to be a long winter, raining with a mix of ice right now, looks like a lot more coming, I only hope the power doesn’t go out. If it does, I will be wishing for a generator!

I miss the summer and warmer weather too, but in a way, I’m glad its cold. It makes for cuddling! And hot chocolate. I actually lived in AZ for 10 years and every Xmas did not feel like it because it was so warm. :\ So I’m happy where I am lol.

If we had some central heat it wouldn’t be to bad, but it seems we can never get it warmed up in here with what we are using.
