What do you think, do you think it’s time for a mystery giveaways? If you follow on Facebook, you would have seen, or maybe not because of how Facebook likes to do things, instead of just showing my followers what I post, they want me to pay to boost it. Sure I like Facebook, but not enough to pay them money. I would rather use the money to do mystery giveaways!
So you may want to know how mystery giveaways are going to work and what might be the prize. So let me explain…
What Is A Mystery Giveaway
A mystery giveaway here on The Neat Things in Life, is a giveaway I will be doing as away to say thank you to my loyal readers. I will not advertise this giveaway on any giveaway sites and I honestly ask that none of you do either, because this is a giveaway for my readers, and not one for those only coming here to enter my giveaways. This is my way of thanking each and everyone of you for supporting The Neat Things in Life.
When And Where Will These Giveaways Be Posted
That is what’s so great about mystery giveaways, they’re a mystery. If I told you when and where they were going to be you would only swing by to see me when you knew a giveaway was going to be posted. I will tell you this a mystery giveaway can pop up at anytime, it can be in a newsletter, on facebook, on twitter, here on the blog, hidden within an old blog post, over on instagram and maybe even on pinterest.
What Will Be Required To Win
This depends I may to a month long giveaway and the one with the most comments will win, if it is a pinterest giveaway maybe it will be to comment on a pin, facebook might be to share a status or interacting. It really all depends on my mood and where it takes place.
What Are The Different Types Of Prizes
This depends as well, I will be having a prize box in 2015. This will be where I get the item for the mystery giveaway. The prize box will have items I have personally purchased, items that were extra that companies have sent for promotional purposes, it will have gift cards that I have received here on the site or from entering giveaways myself, and it will have free product coupons. So, basically it will have a wide rand of items. All items will be brand new items.
Now that we got that all covered who is ready for the first mystery giveaway? Giveaway is open to US readers only, I will not personally be advertising this giveaway. If you have stumbled upon this giveaway and you normally don’t visit my site, you’re free to still enter the giveaway, I do hope though you will return and not just to enter giveaways. The Mystery box value will be anywhere from $5 to $100.

I really like the idea of a ‘secret’ non-advertised giveaway – this rewards your followers and not those drive by reader who stop in only to enter giveaways. Although, the drive by people are also the biggest ‘new reader’ potential I would think so you wouldn’t want all of your giveaways to be secret.
Hi April, Thanks for your input, not all giveaways will be secret the only ones that will be secret are the giveaways I host with items from the prize box! Giveaways that are sponsored by companies will be advertise so that we get exposure to the great products. The secret ones are my way of telling those that are not “drive by” readers a chance to win secret prizes. I do admit I to am a drive by giveaway enter, with having a blog, I know how sometimes that can hurt a blogger, so I am getting better at being a reader as well. This is a small thank you from me to my readers that come for other things besides giveaways. :)
