Weight Loss Journey

One thing I noticed thus far during the hCG Diet is that I have more energy, and motivation to do things. I have found myself moving more away from the computer and actually doing other things, such as cleaning, and enjoying my family a bit more.

I am to the point in this diet I am having to force myself to eat, I am also starting to do more experimenting in the kitchen with different hCG diet friendly recipes. In the past few days, I have made yummy apple chips, and Chilled Garlic pickles, and then my husband got the urge for some cabbage and tomatoes. Can you imagine what it smelt like in my home those 2 days? We has some apple cinnamon, some garlic pickles and some cabbage smell all in the house LOL. Thank goodness the apple cinnamon out powered the rest due to my Glade cinnamon apple candle :)

Also, on a positive note my jeans that have been sitting in my dresses for almost 2 years, finally FIT. They are a bit snug still, but I can get them up, zipped and BUTTONED. Yes!!! No more wearing stretchy pants. I am so excited. :)

  1. You Go Girl !!!!!!!!!

  2. Wow! Sounds like you are on a roll to greater health! Congratulations! Keep it up!

  3. Jammie, do you feel hungry at all? I have read that people on the hcg diet experience no hunger, despite consuming about 500 calories a day.

    • Once in awhile I will have a small amount of hunger pains, just a small
amount, but I also workout and they say not to because it will make you
hungry. I also have a very hard time consuming my 500 calories. I will
not lie, this diet stinks, but only because I miss the taste of cereal,
bread, and pasta. I am having awesome results though, the scale is not
moving much but I have lost 5 inches in my waste, 1 inch in my bust and
I am down almost 15 pounds.

I believe that avoiding ready-made foods is a first step to lose weight. They can taste beneficial, but highly processed foods have got very little vitamins and minerals, making you consume more just to have enough power to get with the day. In case you are constantly eating these foods, transferring to whole grains and other complex carbohydrates will aid you to have more strength while consuming less. Great blog post.
