Last Sunday a female dog wandered into our yard, my husband brought her in, and I just couldn’t make her leave. So I gave her some food, introduced her to our boy dogs, and the rest was history. For the past week I have been trying to locate her owner, from the looks of things she was a drop off.
People piss me off, I don’t understand why they get animals only to release them into the wild… I mean come on who the hell does that know days. Since, I couldn’t leave her outside, we currently have three dogs, until I can find her a forever home.
The part that sucks, is she is female, and I have a feeling if she doesn’t find a home soon, she will end up pregnant by one of my boys…
I cannot believe no one wants this sweet girl, she is so sweet and if I didn’t have two dogs, I would keep her… but there is no way I can keep her, oh how I would love to though, and if she was fixed and I had a fenced in yard, I would be so tempted. However, I know I cannot afford a third dog, and I am trying not to get attached to her.
Since last Sunday, I have posted on several facebook pages, and on craigslist, I am still having no luck with finding her a home. We live in an area where we have a HIGH kill shelter, so although I have said I was taking her there, I really CANNOT. Since she has pit in her they would kill her :(
Today, I have made several attempts to reach out to rescue groups in my area, I am hoping someone can help me! I am willing to foster her if someone can get her fixed and help with food. A few years ago, I wouldn’t have ever brought her into my home. But now that I have furrbabies, I cannot see leaving her out in the cold to fend for herself.
If anyone is in the Tennessee area, and would like this pup let me know!

I wish I was able to keep her, because she was amazing. However, I didn’t have the money to get get fixed, and three dogs in a small area wasn’t going to cut it. We did find her a new home, but I wish I would have kept her! My boy dogs miss her as well.
It’s very nice of you to take care of a stray dog. I hate people that don’t take care of their pets!
