Sweet Calories Not WORTH It

I am a sucker when it comes to sweet treats, and I am an even bigger sucker when it comes to Dairy Queen! A while back we got a booklet of coupons in the mail, and of course silly me, I kept them when I should have thrown them in the trash. Last night was one of those nights where we all were wanting some sweets.

I grabbed up the coupon book and we looked to see what we could get for a decent price.

Hubby and I both decided on the waffle bowls, and our daughter got the peanut butter bash.

When we ordered we went with the dipped chocolate brownie ones, and while it looked super good, I am glad I had a coupon. Because the normal price on them are $4.19 and the calorie count is 980! That is crazy insane, and I would have rather wasted my extra calorie intake on a Oreo Cheesecake blizzard!

I do have to admit though, the Peanut Butter Bash my daughter got was super yummy, and I wish I would have went with that one instead.

And since I cheated and took in 980 sweet calories last night, I am doing extra exercises today to make up for it, so far I have in 12 miles on the stationary bike, 60 kettle bell swings with a 15 pound kettle bell, and 60 curls with a 10 pound dumbbell.

What are some of your sweet weaknesses?

  1. I know. That’s me, too. I love sweets! It’s so hard to lose weight with all of the temptations out there.

That it is! But I have found if I eat some sweets, I just work out twice as much! Works like a charm I get to indulge, plus work it off at the same time. I am the one that is riding the exercise bike, while eating a Dairy Queen blizzard! LOL
