Have you ever heard a song a million times, and it never register, but when you watch a movie, show, or cartoon that you really love watching, and they play the song, then all of a sudden this song is all over the place?
This is what happened to me, not so long ago. I am a huge fan of ABC Soap Operas I started watching them when I was about about 10 or 11 with my mom. Recently, they did a Musical on One Life to Live, and one of the songs that was played was I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas.
After listening to this song I fell in love, I guess it was the way it was being done I have no idea. All of a sudden I realize that is not the first time I heard that song. I remember hearing it somewhere but I could not put 2 and 2 together. Then it hit me on where it was I heard it… Greg from TELLING DAD on a Monday Mingle. Have you checked out Greg’s blog? So I started thinking and it was on the Alvin and The Chipmunks Squeakquel! Song number 15 right there sitting in my laptop. Now I am hearing this song EVERYWHERE. Micky Mouse and Minnie are even singing it.
It just goes to show you can hear something a million times and your mind will not register it until, it shows up on something you enjoy.
