Zumba

A few months ago, I met someone on freecycle. I had a few items that needed a good home and they was almost brand new so I didn’t want them going to just anyone. I do not know how many times I post and I get “Where do you live I will be there in a few minutes” UMMM NO crazy person you will not be here in a few minutes I said I had such and such item to offer never said YOU was the one getting it. Or I would get ” I WANT CAN PICK UP NOW” No again you can not pick up NOW.

So as the story continues I sat back and I watched as emails came in basically assuming I was going to give them the item. Then I got the one email, and she was very polite and stated she would love to have it for her grandchild. This was the first email I got stating who this was for. So I emailed her back and told her if she wanted it for her granddaughter it was hers. We met at a local business and just talked. The next day I emailed her again asking if she was interested in this other thing I had and of course she was so we met again.

This was a few months ago now we keep in contact and help each other out when we can. She has invited me to go with her to something called Zumba. When she first invited me I was like thinking to myself “wtf is that” LOL. First off let me say, this is the FIRST time I have been invited to do anything with someone other then my husbands family, and that was not often. I thought that was really sweet of her to invite me to go with her.

Any how, I passed I have anxiety issues and I do not like being in a group of people, long story. So, I looked up “Zumba” on google and found out it was latin dancing pretty much. You are suppose to be able to burn up to 1000 calories an hour!!! Holy hell I need to be doing that, but I can’t do it in front of a bunch of people. Shit, I won’t even do it in front of my husband. I am almost 31 and still have issues with thinking people are pointing and laughing ugh… So I am going to see about getting the DVD’s and doing this at home.

Then maybe I can do the CHA CHA. LOL

Don’t forget to check out Sherri’s blog. She is just getting started. She is super sweet and I have been helping her with all her questions and getting her started.
