The Lunar Antics Presents Review and Giveawayn CLOSED Winner Inside.

I have to admit getting Gillian to get the hang of reading was a bit tough, and she still has a small struggle with reading, but we work on her reading often and she is doing really well.

I was recently contacted by Robert Walters to do a review on one of his books, called The Lunar Antics Presents: Boy, I’d Hate To Be Made Of That Stuff. One of the main reasons I wanted to do the review is because I found it is easier to get Gillian to read small content then a whole lot of content. What better way to get her to read then to let her read some good Comics.

What Gillian thought:

Gillian’s favorite was the title, she thought it was funny. She also liked that some of the comics are in color.

What mom liked:

I personally love the setup of the book. It gets children to enjoy reading, in a fun environment. I think that’s a lot of why Gillian snubs her nose to reading, she sees all the words and becomes over whelmed.I do however, find her picking up this book and reading with out being told. That is a great thing.

What dad thought:

Dad didn’t really find the book to humorous, but like I explained to dad, it is great to get kids to like reading. He also agreed that this book does gives kids a more exciting approach to reading.

They have antennas, they have flying saucers and they are good in math!

  6. I learned Bob Walters has created an interesting universe where long-lived Lunar inhabitants interact with earth creatures, mostly humans in the person of “The Professor.” The results provide an “out of this world” view of life on Earth..

  7. I learned that The moon guys are simply foils in these funny cartoons to illustrate human nature.
