Can it get any hotter? For the past week, we have been in the 120’s with the heat index. Thank goodness we only have to deal with it for about 13 more days! Then we will be headed back to Michigan, and when winter gets here, you will hear me bitching about how cold it is, and I wished we were back in Tennessee!
I have found a few great ways though to some what stay cooled during these nasty temps. ICE WATER, lots of ice water. Stay under a fan to have a little breeze, another great thing to have is ice packs. I have been taking ice packs and placing them on my head. No lie, this is working some what!
What have you been doing to stay cool during these nasty temperatures? Just a little tip from me to you, don’t run a yard sale, when the temps outside are over 100 degrees. When I got out of my chair, I was sweating so much, it looked like I peed myself. Hopefully next weekend it will not be as hot, because we will be attempting to sell some more things one last time. What doesn’t sell I reckon we will haul it back to Michigan with us, and I will have a sale at my sister’s house. She is in the city so we will do better!
That is one thing that STINKS about living in the country, when you have a yard sale, you get stuck sitting out there waiting for nothing… hah
