One thing about home schooling, is I miss out on shopping for back to school items. Sure we get some of the basic, but items such as new clothes, and backpacks are not on our list. Instead we purchase craft, and science items. So let me be honest, I don’t miss shopping for clothes one bit!
All that back-to-school shopping can run into some money. I remember when Gillian, went to public school for those whole three months or so, I wrote her name on her backpack with a marker, I never thought to get her a personalized backpack.
Come to think about it personalized backpacks for school are a pretty smart idea, this way no one can take your child’s backpack and claim it as theirs. I think if we were still in the public schools, I would have everything of Gillian’s personalized. I know when she was going to school a little girl tried to steal her coat.
You wouldn’t think grade school children would be at that stealing age, I sometimes wonder about parents. However, personalized backpacks don’t have to just be for school, you can get them for your child for those fun over night stays at grandma, and grandpa’s house.
