Momma Needs a Vacation

I am so ready for this year to be over and a new one to start. It seems every time  turn around there is more drama! Thankfully things have turned around for the better for my family. Granted things are still tight, I have faith things will keep turning for the better. They say all things happen for a reason right?

I know several things that happened within the last few months were eye openers for me, and I can certainly say, I learned a lot from the events. I can also honestly say I am glad they happened, and I am glad for many reasons. However, now I think it is time for vacation. I have had way too much stress, and almost had a break down… Okay, I had a mini break down. I am better now though, and I am looking into planning a family vacation!

We have never been on an actual vacation, can you believe that. Sure, we have gone camping, but to visit an exotic place, and explore the lands is something we have yet to do. So, my husband has left me in charge of finding the perfect vacationing spot. I am thinking about Nantucket. What do you think?

I personally think this would be perfect. My daughter is wanting to go to the ocean, my husband is wanting to go to the ocean, and mom, well I am just wanting to relax. I am so tired of stress, I want to sip on a vodka and orange juice, while watching my family laugh and play. I have also been looking into the Nantucket Rentals, they seem to be pretty reasonable prices. Definitely something we could afford by mid spring.

That’s one great thing about home schooling, we go when we want, not when the school tells us we can. Where do you think the perfect exotic vacation would be?
