Bathroom Remodeling, Coming Soon!

I am super excited, my husband and I are in search of a fixer upper. We thought it would be smarter to purchase a home that needed some work, because we would come out better in the long run, and everything will be done how we wanted it to be. Homes that need fixed up have a lot of potential, I think that is what many people over looking when purchasing a home. They want something already done, so they can move in and live their lives. However, I would rather move into a home that needed work, and day by day fix it up how I wanted it. Not only is this route cheaper, you will also learn to appreciate your home more, because you put in a lot of hard work to make it into what it is.

I have done told my husband when it comes to remodeling, the bathroom and kitchen are MINE. I want to do them the way I want, after all I will be spending a large part of my time in the kitchen. In the bathroom, I am wanting to glass mosaic tile. I have always loved the look of mosaic tile, and I think it would go perfect in the bathroom.

How many of you have every worked with glass tile? Do you like it, does it wash up well? I think glass tiles would clean up very well, as long as it was kept up. I don’t want something that I would have to scrub and scrub at. I think using a glass tile will help set the room off, even if I used it in the shower, and not on the floor.

I cannot wait to see what 2012 has in store for my family and I. I cannot wait to start remodeling my dream home, my goal is to be in my new home within the next year!
