Netwars – The Butterfly Attack Episode 1 Review

Netwars

With the Internet and computers taking over how we do things in today’s world, more and more crimes are taking place on-line. The Butterfly Attack  uses fictional characters to explore real life threats. The creator of The Butterfly Attack, M. Sean Coleman wants us to not only see the dangers that lurk the web today, but he also wants us to see the dangers first hand.

If you have the attitude about it just being on-line and it’s not real life, think again. People like to misunderstand the internet and some feel since it’s not happening in “real” life, but in the cyberworld it will not effect them. Everything we do and say on the Internet has a chance to effect you somehow, someway. All it takes is a smart person and some clicks of the mouse and all your information can be out there.

In The Butterfly Attack series Coleman merges true facts with actual events to create a visually stunning fictional story about a team of hackers hired to conduct a mock cyberwar exercise that goes wrong. With new technology the reader will be able to actually put themselves in the story. The Butterfly Attack has interactive motion sensors, 3D animations, video, and gaming elements fully integrated into the app.

When I first installed Netwars – The Butterfly Attack on my phone, I was getting a bit worried, I like to think I am very educated about hacking. However, the way this app is setup gives you a feel as if this is really happening. After realizing, this was the app I let my guard down some and continued on. It was very interesting to see how things were playing out.

NetWars – The Butterfly Attack has many great features including unique animations and sound effects, intuitive controls, revolutionary 3D parallax technology with motion sensors for unlocking hidden artifacts, and it’s available in multiple languages.

Netwars -The Butterfly Attack is the first in a three part series of apps with the second and third being released later this summer. The first series can be purchased for $2.99 by visiting the Netwars page and is available for Apple and Android devices.
