In many homes Superbowl Sunday is a big thing even if the family isn’t big on football. In my home we watch mainly for the commercials. However, in other homes, Superbowl is huge and is usually celebrated in a big way. Wives take to pinterest to find Superbowl party ideas and even game day recipes. Husbands invite everyone they know to come over for the biggest Superbowl party on the block.

Publix, Old El Paso and Avocados from Mexico, wants to help you and your family prepare for Superbowl Sunday, by bringing you great savings on Old El Paso and Avocados from Mexico products so you can make some hit game day recipes that will have all your friends talking not only about that awesome touch down, but the amazing food they enjoyed while watching the main football game of the year.

Publix has two different savings deals going on right now to help make preparing those game day snacks easy on the pockets.

What You Need

Old El Paso taco seasonings
Old El Paso Refried Beans
Old El Paso Soft Stand N Stuff Shells
Avocados from Mexico
Shredded Cheese
Sour Cream
Black Olives Sliced
1 pound ground meat (I used ground venison)
Salsa
Tortilla Chips

The first thing you want to do is to cook the meat, we like lean meats so when we make our tacos we try to use ground venison or ground turkey. Once the meat is cooked you add your Old El Paso taco seasonings. Then you want to prepare guacamole, we usually use a store bought seasoning to do this, however, if you have special guacamole game day recipes you would like to use go for it!

After you have everything ready, you want to start preparing your Dip on the Go. This can be done several different ways, it really all depends on how one likes their taco dips.

First you want to get an Old El Paso Soft Stand N Stuff, this will be your “container” for the dip. Then you will start to layer the filling. I like to start my dip with some meat, this can be left out, however, once my chips are gone, I want to be able to finish off the Dip on the Go.

I layered mine with meat, Old El Paso Refried Beans, salsa, guacamole made with Avocados from Mexico, sour cream and then I added some black olives and cheese to the top. Once I had it completely assembled I added a few tortilla chips to the top to complete my Dip on the Go.
