Edge Up With Verizon

I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Ambassadors program and have been provided with a wireless device and three months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.

With technology changing all the time, sometimes it can be hard keeping up with all the latest cell phones, while not breaking the bank. If you have a cellphone or a smartphone, I am sure you have heard about many of the carriers rolling out a new programs, so that you can enjoy new phones pretty much as soon as they come out. Okay, so not as soon as they come out, but without having to wait until your contract has expired, and you have an upgrade available.

On August 25th, Verizon launched the Verizon Edge program. If you have never heard of the Verizon Edge program before you maybe asking yourself what I am talking about! Let me explain the Verizon Edge Program.

Say you wanted to check out the BlackBerry Z10, however, you didn’t have the money to pay up front for the phone, and you didn’t want to get stuck in another contract if you weren’t a fan of the phone.

With the Verizon Edge program, there is no more having to worry about being stuck in a contract and no more having to pay for the device upfront! So you can get the BlackBerry Z10 on a payment plan, the plan is for 24 months, however, after 6 months as long as you have the device at least 50% paid off, you can Edge Up.

This process is simple, all you do is take your old device back to the store and trade it in for a newer model, say you really liked the BlackBerry Z10, but you weren’t a fan of the touchscreen keyboard and you want to try out the BlackBerry Q10 with the fancy QWERTY style keyboard, with the Verizon Edge program you have the freedom to do just that!

No more having to wait out that contract, no more getting stuck with insane fees, and no more being outdated, when all your friends have the newest gadget!
