Journey Gym 70 Day Challenge Day 33

Fat to Thin

Day 33 of the 70 Day Journey Gym is complete! My back is still messed up, but I am not letting that stop me from working out, I just make sure to stretch my back before working out, and if the exercise is to hard on my back I walk in place.

I never thought this was going to happen, I didn’t think I would get to the point of doing a 20 minute workout and a 10 minute warm-up. When I signed on to the 70 day Journey Gym Challenge, I honestly didn’t think, I would make it this far, I always seem to quit, because of the scales. However, this time around I am not letting the scales guide me, I am letting the Journey Gym Team guide me, so far I cannot complain, they’re doing an awesome job!

Who would have thought, I would be doing 30 minute workouts daily, sure the heck not me. I remember when I was younger, my mom would try and force me to walk to help with my weight issues. I would always walk around the block, or go to the park and sit until I thought it would be about time for me to be done with walking around town and back.

I know my mom was only trying to help me, but when one becomes obese, they have to want to change before they will let others come in to help guide them. I am beyond ready to change, that’s why I have been sticking to this, and I bust my butt, and I try as hard as I can, my hard work is paying off in so many ways, I am seeing results when I look in the mirror, I am seeing results with the pictures I take, and best of all, my family is seeing results.

Once I am done with the 70 day challenge, I will be posting the pictures I have taken a long the way, I am hoping to have dropped about 20 more pounds by that point, cannot say it will happen, but I will be doing my best to make it happen.

Taking the 70 day challenge with Journey Gym, has been a blessing. I truly am on my journey to being healthier, and thinner. I don’t want the obese status no more, I want the healthy status!
